Kara's Shop.

i've visited shops of Northpeak, not sure where shopkeepers were before.

There are two shops - Kara's General Goods & other shop: Ishmael's - with Armors & Gemcutting Goods.

Dear Journal,

I've got map copied dilligently.

Where is Northpeak?

Right where that red star is, near the border of the desert.

It's history is as follows:

'The year is 1370, A small mining community stumbles upon a new iron ore mine and set up a small walled town. They name the town Northpeak. They have no official ties to the Silver Marches, they have strained but not hostile ties with their dwarven neighbors in Citadel Adbar due to the proximity of the mine to the dwarves.

The leader of Northpeak, Lord Obram "Orcmauler", a retired adventurer and veteran of the orc wars has sent out word to adventurers to come help keep Northpeak safe and share in the wealth from below. Orc attacks from the mountains, blizzards and winds strong enough to collapse houses, the spectres, wraiths and necromancers of Vordrorn Forest always unsettle the people of Northpeak and the ruins of the ancient dwarven city of Ascore lay just to the south and something seems to stir in it's ruined depths.'

How death looks?

People often describe her as a young pale woman with raven-black hair.

Sometimes they yearn her beauty.

What is the Rain?

Dear Journal,

According to locals of Northpeak, rain is when sky weeps.

When woman cries, people say it's rainy weather.

i can withstand rain when neccessary, for Love, as any loving man should.

Damaged North Gate.

Dear Journal,

i've explored town a little.

it is as Janine a paladin said - the guard is holding strong, but the north gate is in need of repairs.

other parts of town also need construction efforts.

Necromantic Morality.

Dear Journal,

While not a Necromancer, i think that the Necromancy School of Magic can be either Menace or Life-saver, depending on intentions.

Not everyone in our Adventuring Group agrees or apparently even can agree to that.

Undead Menace.

Zombie Goblins.

Dear Journal,

Adventuring group followed guard patrol, only to find undead goblins that attacked.

The danger was real - not imagined indeed.

Not sure if all of guards are alive.

Ground was rumbling & undead were rising from dirt.

Detect magic spell proved that source of necromantic spell was ground.

Then human zombie arose, fight wasn't very long after.

We couldn't find cause of necromantic magics as of yet, perhaps tomorrow our group will find more.

P.S. There's no pay for group's efforts but we've found scrolls, potions, bolts & gold... i am carrying part of that treasure, at least for now.

Some time ago i've arrived in Northpeak.

Laws of this land are harsh & hard as stone they are engraved on.

With hastily arranged group we've killed few monsters of goblin kind.

Barely remembering anything due to my bad memory & wounds.

I should've written this report earlier, as proper scribe should.
