As a 'Planeswalker', Arthur Vane Lightwielder is called by 'Greater Forces' to visit many 'Worlds' ('Planes of Existence') to do various tasks.

This time he was called to protect a settlement & magic of the land.

His magical powers are different in different worlds, for magic is attuned to the land... but he still keeps theoretical wisdom that sometimes works.
